Re-enrollment in Freiburg university every semester

Re-enrollment
In Freiburg, the university year is divided into two semesters: the “Winter Semester” from October to March and the “Summer Semester” from April to July. Enrolment at Freiburg university is valid for one semester only. You must renew your enrolment before the next semester starts. This procedure is done easily online see the details here.
You will need to pay the enrolment fees.

In some cases, you need to upload a health insurance certificate from the German insurance company. If your health insurance certificate renewal for next semester is still being processed, you may not re-enroll online. You should contact personally the staff member at the service centre who responsible for you according to the first letter of your last name.
